The point to watch

NVIDIA frames this discussion around enterprises retaining control of their business data and proprietary models. Justin Boitano, its vice president of Enterprise AI, joins VAST Data CEO Renen Hallak to discuss confidential computing as part of that approach.

The Future AI view

The useful question is where the trust boundary sits. A company evaluating AI should be able to explain where processing happens, who can access information and how those claims are checked. A compelling demonstration should lead to that conversation, rather than replace it.

For creators and small teams, the same instinct applies at a different scale: decide which material can leave your machine before connecting an assistant to it. Local execution is one design choice; confidential computing is another layer of the enterprise discussion. Neither label alone proves a complete deployment is secure. This is a vendor conversation, with its claims attributed to the speakers.
